Run an engine through its registered implementation

`fit_engine()` dispatches on the [MsEngine] spec to the `fit_fn` stored on its registry row (see [register_ms_engine()]). It is the hardhat-named generic of the engine registry; the user-facing extraction/fitting entry points (`ms_extract()`/`ms_fit()`) call it at the API boundary.

Usage

fit_engine(engine, ...)

Arguments

engine

an [MsEngine] spec (e.g. from [match_ms_engine()]).

...

passed through to the registered engine implementation.

Value

whatever the registered engine implementation returns.
